Privacy Policy
What We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and username. As you use the platform, we store your reading progress, bookmarks, and subscription status. We also keep standard session data — a secure token that keeps you signed in.
That’s it. We don’t ask for your name, address, phone number, or anything else.
How We Use It
Your data is used to provide the service: keeping you signed in, saving your place in stories, and managing your subscription. We send transactional emails — password resets, receipts, subscription notices. We don’t send marketing emails unless you opt in, and you can opt out anytime.
What We Don’t Do
- We don’t sell your data to anyone, ever
- We don’t use third-party tracking or analytics scripts
- We don’t run ads on the platform
- We don’t share your reading habits with publishers or partners
- We don’t build behavioral profiles for targeting purposes
Payments
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe, your card details go directly to Stripe — we never see or store them. We receive confirmation of payment status, your subscription tier, and renewal dates. Stripe’s own privacy policy governs how they handle your payment information.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. It contains no personal information and expires when your session ends (or after 30 days if you choose “stay signed in”). We don’t use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party cookies.
Contact
Questions about your data, requests for deletion, or anything else privacy-related — get in touch. We’ll respond within two business days.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll notify active subscribers by email before the changes take effect. Minor clarifications may be updated without notice. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
